High up the cliffs, with overwhelming views of the Bode Valley, is the Berghotel Hexentanzplatz. Rooms are comfortable rather than luxurious, but the views are superb. The hotel has several restaurants, all serving hearty local fare. The views of the valley are particularly good from the terrace. However, thousands of tourists visit the Hexentanzplatz entertainment complex daily, making the setting less serene for most of the day.
